General Education

Literacy Central at Reading is Fundamental
Explore free digital resources including activities, games, and videos for your children’s favorite books. The site includes sections for teachers, parents, and volunteers.

PBS Parents
PBS Parents contains information on child development and early learning and also offers access to educational games, activities, and birthday party plans, inspired by PBS KIDS programs.

Fact Monster
Fact Monster combines reference materials, fun facts and features, and homework help for kids.

NeoK12
This site provides educational videos, lessons, quizzes, and educational games for K-12 students in various subject areas, such as science, math, health, social studies, and English.

Khan Academy
This free site offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard for subjects ranging from math and coding to history and economics. For ages kindergarten through adults.

TEDEd
The maker of TED Talks provides curated educational videos on literature and language, mathematics, science and technology, and lots more. Filter the results by student level, subject and more to find what you need.

WatchKnowLearn.org
Over 50,000 K-12 educational videos in over 5,000 categories have been selected and reviewed by educators and are available on this site for free to teachers, parents, and students.

Art Projects for Kids

Making Music Fun

From the National Aeronautics and Space Administration website, this section for kids contains games and information about space and related subjects.

Justice Sandra Day O'Connor founded iCivics in 2009 to cultivate a new generation of students for thoughtful and active citizenship. Young people learn about government by playing games that transform abstract concepts into real-life problems.

National Geographic Kids
Nat Geo Kids online inspires young adventurers to explore the world through games, videos, information, and an interactive world map.

NOAA Education Resource Collections
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration provides educational resources about the oceans, weather, climate, elementary science, and more.

Open Culture Kids Educational Resources
This Open Culture collection provides a list of free educational resources for K-12 students and their parents and teachers. It features video lessons/tutorials, mobile apps, audiobooks, ebooks, textbooks, quality YouTube channels, foreign language lessons, test prep materials, and web resources in academic subjects like literature, history, science, and computing.
